How can I Copy links to parts of books within LiveCarta and what do they do?

The Copy link feature allows you to link to a specific part of a LiveCarta book. That link can be shared with others or incorporated into your own documents and resources. The Copy link feature may be used any time you want to refer a fellow LiveCarta user to a specific selection in a LiveCarta book.

  1. Within a book opened from your LiveCarta library, select the text that you wish to link to and select “Copy link” from the options menu which automatically pops up after text selection. Once you have done so, a text box will pop up to confirm the link has been copied.
  2. When the copied link is loaded, it will open up to the part of the book you selected which will be highlighted for easy reference. The person following the link must have access to the corresponding book to see the linked content.

The link can be included in LiveCarta materials, shared as a link elsewhere on the web, and more.
