How do I publish a book?
- Add a book and start your writing process with a selection of formatting options in the word toolbar. You can include multimedia such as video, pictures, audio and more to add context to your work.
2. Configure Author Settings to define how and by whom your book is used: allow or restrict downloading a PDF version, adding public notes within the book that all readers can see, and ordering a printed copy; decide if your book will be available for purchase in the LawCarta Catalog or if only assigned users can access it; allow other professors to create customized versions of your book that they can share with other users, etc.
3. Assign co-authors if you’re collaborating with other writers. You can assign them to specific chapters without giving them editing- power over the whole book.
4. Decide on a price or publish as open-source. Once the book is published, you can issue a Minor Revision or create a New Edition of your book at any time.
