Summary generation for book chapters
This AI summarizing tool helps users effectively generate AI-powered summaries for each chapter, making it a useful option for authors selling their materials by chapters.
- From the "My Library" tab, select your book, click the cover to open your work, and switch to the “Chapters” tab. The process of generating summaries differs slightly for published and editable materials.
- For editable books, you can generate the summary only for a single chapter. Click the icon
near the appropriate chapter title.
Reload the page. When the process is complete, an icon “i” will appear near the chapter title. Hover over this icon to see the generated summary. For unpublished material, you cannot edit the summary at this step.
- For published books, mark the checkbox next to the chapter you want to summarize. Hover over the icon near this chapter. From the drop-down menu, choose “Generate summary for this Chapter” or “Generate summary for all Chapters” (ensure all chapters are selected with checkboxes). The duration of the process depends on the chapter size. If “Generate summary for all Chapters” is chosen, summaries will be generated for all chapters sequentially.
Reload the page. To check the status, click the icon 
. Continue clicking periodically until the summary appears in the Summary box.
Read the generated summary carefully. At this stage, the author can manually edit the summary. Click “Save” button. If the book is sold by chapters, saved Summary appears in the Catalog.
